I am Karl Fisch, a teacher for more than thirty years and a learner my entire life. I believe passionately that sustainability is not just about sustainable energy, but also sustainable lifestyle. I believe strongly that we must - and can - transition to sustainable energy, but I also think we need to build sustainable lifestyles for ourselves and each other, including taking care of others in our community.
1991 - 2018
Taught high school students mathematics (over the years Algebra, Algebra II, Trig/Pre-Calc) and computer science (Intro to Computer Science, Advanced Python, Web Design: HTML, CSS & JavaScript) and was also Director of Technology for the school.
2007 - 2016
Traveled to school districts (and a few companies) throughout the United States and Canada and discussed changes in teaching and learning.
